My name is Ingrid Sanders and I live in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. I have been involved in Irish Step Dance for more than a decade. I frequently performed throughout the Netherlands with Irish dance group Oisín and participated in several competitions. Together with Dutch folkband Cairn o’ Mhor I also collaborated in the full length theater show ‘Heartbeat of the Mhor’.

I discovered sean-nós during a two-year stay in the United States where I was taking Irish dance classes with renowned performer and choreographer Kieran Jordan. She introduced me to sean-nós dance and got me inspired by other wonderful dancers such as Maldon Meehan, Ronan Regan and Aidan Vaughn. Since then I have attended workshops during the Catskills Irish Arts Week in New York, with Seosaimh O'Neachtain and Paraic O'hOibicin and during the Fonn Rince sean-nós festival with Mairead Casey and Paul Moran.
